Commercial Printing DPI Question?

I had to create an indesign document using images supplied to me which had rasterized text (I know, I know) in them as well (not much text, about 6 words here and there but on 76 pages worth). I had very limited time to create the document so no time to retype all the text as vector. The images were 300dpi so I wasn't too concerned . I created the document, used the pdf job option file as advised by the printer and sent the job off. I was looking at it today thinking the pdf looked much lower quality than the indesign document. I tested it and the pdf has halved the dpi of all the images for some reason so now the printer has a document with images at150dpi. I am freaking out that the text won't print legibly & it's too late to cancel the print. The type was 8pt as far as I am aware - the pdf with the 150dpi images/rasterized text prints quite good on my laser printer. Will it still be legible on the commercial digital printer?
