What to do when u get a no paragraph symbol in proofreading on a paper?

Im taking a online word processing class in school. an im having to redo a story in my book with the proofreading already done. all i have to do is retype it. well in one of the paragraphs at the beginning of it. i have to symbol that means no paragraph. an im not sure on what to do.
