Can a agreement between my baby father and I uphold in court?

One day my baby father came to me with a letter to sign stating i would never take him to court no matter what. I told him i will sign it if he promise that he will always be there for his son and start doing for him than ill never will have to he promised. He said he ll retype it and have me sign a new one. He never did and wont help. Him and his girl claim son this year and spent it on themselves and didn't get my child nothing. Im taking him to court will that agreement up hold in court?
