My attorney has filed a motion to withdraw when I questioned his billing practices. How do I contest him ?

He has billed me for $ 7700 for typing retyping inventories and then starting discovery process and has not gotten all the information needed yet. He has wasted about one year of my life. My divorce is pending for the last 20 months. It is mockery of the judicial system in Texas. I had two options, keep paying his inflated bills or question his bills and get slapped with motion to withdraw which he has done it. How do I draft a letter/motion/hearing? to object his decision without refunding my money after charging what is compnsurate to his work done - but he has not done anything in the case.
