Rift patcher: nothing happens when i hit login?

ok so i made a rift account downloaded the trial patched it for 4 hours now im at this. i type in my information on the rift patcher and hit login. i dont get a error my password just dissapears and i have to click in the password box retype sae thing happens. how can i fix this? right now im going to try to make a new account
