Visual novel help??????

Im writing a visual novel and im kinda new. Im using renpy too. I was wondering how can I if I have an action that leads to a certain dialogue and another action that leads to the same dialogue but in the middle of it had something extra in it. (sorry its hard to explain) and I don't wanna just retype the whole thing. PLEASE HELP
